A unique, one-time performance presented in and around a condemned apartment building measuring eighty by twenty meters in the Zuilen neighbourhood in Utrecht. The set itself was thus huge and very close by; the title was inspired by graffiti in one of the halls. Two and a half thousand spectators watched fifty painters give the deserted building a coat of fresh paint in record time, and the newly painted surface served as a clearly reflecting canvas for the images projected on it. A heavily loaded car appeared on the roof and men in white suits ran to and fro to the music of the band the Freaking Factory, a painter in love bounced around on a giant helium balloon and eighteen doors blew open and shut in the wind.
The piece was produced in intensive cooperation with the group Theater Totaal from Nieuwegein, which provides the mentally handicapped with opportunities to work in theatre.
